ROOTS EXPLORER

These are our most all-purpose shoes. They combine protection and freedom on any terrain. Their water-resistant treatment, warm interior, non-slip sole, and flexible design allow the foot to adapt and stay comfortable with every step, no matter the surroundings.

RAIN-SAFE™ Technology

RAIN-SAFE™ technology combines recycled materials with low water absorption and a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment on the shoe surface. All this allows water droplets to slide off immediately, preventing moisture retention even in rainy conditions or on wet surfaces. This technology ensures water resistance.

Double layer of insulation and breathability

The interior of the Explorer features a double-layer thermal insulation system, which acts as a protective barrier in cold weather, ensuring the foot stays warm without sacrificing breathability. The outer design has been optimized to allow a constant flow of air inside the footwear. This innovative construction enables the exterior to repel moisture while the interior promotes air circulation, dispersing heat and minimizing the buildup of sweat and dampness.

Non-slip sole and grip on uneven terrain

The sole of the Explorer features an optimized non-slip tread designed to provide grip on uneven ground. Its unique drainage pattern allows water to be quickly expelled, reducing the risk of slipping even in wet conditions. Additionally, the sole is reinforced in key areas, offering extra protection in spots prone to impact. The flexible sole lets the foot adjust to the terrain without losing contact with the ground, providing a safe, steady, and natural experience.
